| Description | FNT was established in 1947 on the premises of "The Mayo News", Westport, with a remit to publish the - by then- weekly newspaper "Inniu", but also to continue "The Mayo News", and to develop Irish language publications. Its first printing job was Máirtín ó Cadhain's "Cré na Cille" for Sáirséil agus Dill (1949). Mac an Bheatha collected some administrational material concerning both its beginnings, and the liquidation period 1987/1988. |
